Quality, environment and society

We are part of society
and take our share of responsibility

We have seen it this way: A company that wants to stand for high quality, conduct conscious environmental work and wants to take its social responsibility – that company can start at home.

This is an important reason why MIC Nordic's personal safety manual is available to all our employees – and also at all our workplaces and on every assignment. The book describes – straight to the point – everything from different policies to practical instructions on how to prevent accidents. And what to do if an accident does occur.

Quality policy

MIC Nordic is a customer-focused company, which means that we constantly work on improvements in a purposeful and proactive manner. Through this, we achieve satisfied employees and customers.

We achieve our quality goals by:

  • Deliver the right product and the right quality at the right time to the customer
  • We carry out self-inspection of goods and services through documentation
  • We have trained staff
  • We further train our staff

Environmental policy

We are a company that works for a better environment by constantly evaluating what we do based on its environmental impact.

We achieve the environmental policy by:

  • Sort our waste at source
  • Eco-friendly our purchases
  • Environmental information should be available internally, for our customers and our suppliers
  • We drive our company cars according to the Eco drivers principle

Information security

GDPR
All businesses that handle personal data must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means, among other things, that MIC Nordic follows the fundamental principles, ensures that the processing has a legal basis and informs data subjects about how we handle their personal data.

NIS2
The NIS Act sets requirements for security in networks and information systems. MIC Nordic delivers essential services and is therefore covered by the NIS Act. In 2024, NIS2 will come into force. NIS2 sets clearer requirements for risk analyses and security requirements, but also for management participation in cybersecurity work. NIS2 also means that significantly more sectors are covered by the legislation.

Our way of working

MIC Nordic works with an XPLM-based business flow chart in which the different activities are logically linked to a project flow. The system contains templates and descriptions of activities and responsibilities. The chart describes a system integration project (MIC Nordic's core business) and contains handover points between MIC Nordic and the customer and internally within MIC Nordic.

This entire process is built and deployed together with SEMCON (who owns XLPM) and is based on the fundamental ideas of Ericsson's project management system PROPS. MIC Nordic has implemented XLPM in 2021 and during the operation time has fine-tuned the model based on experiences from a number of completed projects.

MIC Nordic has system support through a web-based project management tool that is set up to reflect the company's business flow chart. All of MIC Nordic's projects are run in this system and monitored by the company's project manager and management team.

Varje site är unik och tidplanen anpassas till dess unika förutsättningar. På detta sätt säkras tillgänglighet, beroenden av sidoentreprenörer, granskning av detaljprojektering, gemensam anpassning av tidplaner etc.

Social responsibility, CSR

At MIC Nordic, we work with social responsibility and corporate social responsibility in accordance with the ISO 26000 standard.
