DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) is an open standard for digital radio that is used all over the world today, especially on construction sites, which are some of the biggest users of this radio system.

POC radio over a mobile network
The abbreviation POC stands for “PTT Over Cellular” and the service functions in all areas of the EU where there is mobile coverage via 3G, 4G and/or WiFi. The technology involves using the radio as a standard comms radio.
MIC Nordic delivers the Motorola WAVE software platform, a holistic solution which, in contrast to other comparable systems, is designed to handle mission-critical communication.
RAKEL and TETRA
Our “blue light” services naturally need access to reliable radio coverage even in tunnels and buildings.
The Swedish RAKEL network operates with TETRA as its bearing infrastructure. Taking this as our base, we at MIC Nordic create our own products and solutions that ensure reliable communication for such locations, in both new and facilities.
